I don't know about you, but I'm on an eternal search for a dewy complexion. And no matter how many serums and oils and creams I apply, nothing is ever quite enough to give me a long-lasting post-facial glow I crave. So I turn to foundation: It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream (ВЈ30), to be precise. And it really does the job, layering skin with a light sheen that makes me look like I've spent my morning skipping through dew-drenched fields on Swiss mountains. Well, kind of. The only problem is that the coverage of that formula is so lightweight that when my skin enters meltdown mode, it doesn't have enough oomph to adequately disguise it. But I'll tell you what does: Models Own Pro Foundation Stick (ВЈ10), my newest makeup discovery.

It might look like your average foundation stick, but average it is not. At its core lies a tube of built-in primer that mixes with the pigments encasing it with every swipe, delivering a dosage of vitamin E that nourishes skin as it conceals. The pigments themselves are hardy little things, with the strength to cover spots (both the active kind and those red, flaky ones on their way out) as well as dark circles-yes, even heavy hereditary ones.
But the most impressive skill on this foundation's CV is the finish: The texture sits in that sweet spot between wet and dry. It's melty like butter but has enough backbone that it remains in stick form until the very second it hits the skin. Weirdly, it makes skin look like it's drenched in moisturizer and gives off such a sheen that skin honestly looks like something out of a sci-fi film, with a highlight to rival even the most metallic strobe cream.
There are 15 shades. Granted, in this day and age, that isn't exactly something to write home about, but they do reach all ends of the skin-tone spectrum. And I'm especially smug about this find because of the price tag, which, at ВЈ10, is one of those nice beauty buys you needn't worry about becoming attached to, as it won't break the bank to replace once you run out. And believe me, you'll want to replace it.
